MOD 1
The original carbine from Hodge Defense. Featuring 7075 “enhanced” mil-spec receivers. The takedown and pivot lugs are slightly oversized to achieve a tight upper-to-lower fit. The front of the receiver also requires thermal fitting of the barrel extension to ensure the best fit possible.
The Mod 1 is available in 11.5”, 12.5”, 14.5”, and 16” lengths with our CHF barrels made from proprietary steel with optimized gas ports and a tapered bore. These make the recoil impulse softer, especially when shooting suppressed and the tapered bore improves velocity.

MOD 2
The latest improvements from Hodge Defense. The receivers are made from C405 proprietary forgings that gave a stronger strength-to-weight ratio than traditional 7075 forgings. As with the Mod 1, the takedown and pivot lugs are slightly oversized to achieve a tight upper-to-lower fit. The front of the receiver also requires thermal fitting of the barrel extension to ensure the best fit possible.
